Growing Our Values

The 22nd International Congress and McGill University wish to extend the values of the Congress – altruism, compassion, wisdom, courage, caring, and community – by providing a living acknowledgement of the support provided.

In recognition of these values and the support of the ALTRUISM and COMPASSION level sponsors, 50 trees will be planted on behalf of each of these sponsors in areas of need of reforestation across the country, improving the lives of Canadians by planting and nurturing trees and teaching about the value of our natural world.

The TreeCanada National Greening Program is mass seedling plantings across Canada, where there is a need for reforestation or afforestation. In addition to the restoration of forests and wildlife habitat, trees planted through the National Greening Program contribute to cleaner air, cleaner soil, and cleaner waterways.
